This is another Vintage Princess of Power style custom figure I was asked to make of Shadow Weaver from the classic She-Ra cartoon series…

For this one I was asked to make her costume removable (including her hood). Her face under the hood was to be flesh colour with yellow eyes & black eye make-up similar to that of the Wild One figure from Golden Girl, seen here…

To make her I used the body from a vintage Glimmer figure

& the head from a vintage She-Ra figure

Her body was painted using red satin enamel paints & her boots were painted in deeper red gloss enamel paints. I then added some red glitter to her bracelets & sealed them with a coat of gloss enamel varnish. I also replaced the little jewel on her chest with a red one to match Shadow Weavers outfit.

Her outfit was made form a combination of red lycra fabric, red glitter fabric, faux leather, gold adhesive foil & red holographic tape. The bottom section of her skirt was made from 2 under layers of pleated red organza ribbon & a top payer of pleated red glitter fabric.

I was also asked to keep her hands green which I painted with enamel paints & then added a layer of glow in the dark enamel paint for an extra little touch.
