Shahnaz is the only lioness in the pride of Arminda that was made by Lorelei's blood. Lorelei personally took care of her as her child. People can sometimes see the two of them walk around the forest.
Since she has Lorelei's blood it caused her to have purple hues in her fur and a purple diamond on her skin. Lorelei's blood also made Shahnaz have heightened abilities and a longer live span than the average lion. Now you might think that people would see her as a threat. The humans do but the Arminda pride didn't. Frankly they rejoiced at this. Since their pride is the first one to have an animal made of Lorelei's blood.
The only reason why Shahnaz mated with Kondo was because he -- at the time was the strongest lion in their pride. She holds no love for him. A fact that only a selected few know. Like her mother -- Lorelei and her cubs. Plus Kondo was her best friends mate. She only mated with him once she passed on.
Now she spends her days helping her mother or spending time with her cubs. Only when it is necessary does she spend time with Kondo.
