Here we go, a few days late to Inktober, and not a great scan, but I'd better make something this year, dammit! I'm not following the prompts, obviously. I highly doubt I'll draw every day, either.

This is all I can think today: I'm terrified to turn on my computer, to see the news. How many times are we going to break the mass shooting body count record? Do Puerto Ricans not get aid because they're not White English-speakers? Does the President even know that Puerto Rico is part of the US? Do black people have civil rights anymore? Are we Apartheid South Africa tomorrow? Wiemar Republic Germany next year? This is beyond absurd.

When I do open my big fat mouth on Facebook, I always get in trouble: Conservative family members, concerned family members who say I'm being too controversial and angry, and why can't I just be quiet and not rock the boat, please? We don't want to discuss anything unpleasant.

Well, ignoring things makes them worse. It makes you part of a given problem. So how about some pictures instead?

This is how I feel. If I turn on any kind of electronic device with Internet, I'm going to be bombarded with bloodshed and hatred, again and again. So weary.

[[EDIT:] My wife tells me that October is the 10th month, and I dated the picture wrong. This is true. Yet, it's also so wrong that I constantly write "8" on things. Septem, Octem, Novem, and Decem mean 7, 8, 9, 10. As a Latin student, this always, always messes me up! Like, Octopi have 8 tentacles. By the Gregorian Calendar's logic, they would suddenly become decapi for no reason. Why did the Church keep Latin as its language for thousands of years, yet mess up the months so badly?]
