Dug up old toys recently. This is what happens when I'm unemployed for a mere two weeks: Barbie dolls become armed and dangerous around this household. This is Barbie and Duke, in Desert Storm-era gear.

My little brother and I got these GI Joe dolls in (I believe) 1991, and yes, I was a boy who got an Army Barbie (1993?) to go with them. She's supposed to be a field medic, but F*** that! Women don't have to be in non-combat roles.

Plus, they never came out with a 12" Lady Jaye or the ever-hot Baroness. . . Missed opportunities, guys. . . You could've just started with the Barbie molds (Hasbro actually owns Mattel, though I don't know if they already did back then).
