Description
This was a request I did. A romantic Harry Potter fanart.(The first time someone asked me to draw something for him>.< )
it's a little older already, I started it in mid july, but didn't finnish it until a few weeks ago.
It's Harry and Hermione and he looks waaay too girly, ne?
I'll have to improve on that...I was never any good at drawing guys.

I love you style, and how Harry looks! In my opinion, you don't need to change how he looks, but if you want to, it will still be awesome! He just looks slightly feminine, which is how some anime guys look and I'm practically in love with them!!! This looks amazing, and I only hope I can achieve this level soon!

Or if you want to know why Harry looks like a chick...
The face/head are good - and hot. It's the body that makes Harry look like a chick; you gave him an hour-glass figure when guys are more rectangular. And the way 'his' clothing is arranged.... Having it pulled off the shoulder is a feminine style, and the green undershirt almost looks like a skirt. Also, the legs are in a position that only girls can achieve comfortably.

If you were ever to edit or create another like this, to achieve manliness, you'd simply have to make him more angular.
Square and broaden the shoulders, give him a slant from his neck to his shoulder-bone instead of an indent, de-trim the waist aka lose the curve on the hips, and go with glasses that don't surround the entire "chibi anime" eye, which is typically a feature of female characters.
Mmm that's all I can think of in my mental list for how to draw chibi-esque men.
By the way this is always a problem for me too when drawing guys. The always get too many curves.
I think the biggest feminine factor however is that green shirt.
I have that shirt!
