Description

The night after the search party had reached the Claws of the Fallen Sun, Bristle encountered a familiar feeling while he slept.
He dreamed of a cave covered in blue ice cold crystals and at the end of the tunnel; the one he so desperately sought to find.
He knew this feeling. It was the same feeling of warmth and familiarity when they lost String. He knew what it meant but it didn't hurt any less.

The following morning he watched in silence as the rest of the cats got ready for their search in the scorching lands, covered in craters filled with lava.
He wasn't sure how to tell them. He opened his mouth but nothing came out. Swallowing he tried again. But all he could manage was that there was no point.
The pain in the apprentices eyes must've said more than what he actually capable of. He turned around to leave the refuge and begin on their track back to Haven.
One or two of them came over in an attempt at comforting him but he blew them off.
