Description
I wanted to color something with Copic Markers again aAnd that's it. These are two characters from a story I'm about to write.Their names are Oliver (one with the hat) and John (actually his hair should be blond). The story is about their friendship and what it means to have a friend.
First time using Copic-Marker paper. I think it's pretty nice to work with, but when you scan it the colors look pretty strange.

Lovely! Das Bild ist wirklich klasse, besonders der Hintergrund.Die Farben sehen auch nicht mehr so komisch aus.

Danke vielmals. Ich freu mich immer zu hören wenn dir eins meiner Bilder gefällt. Mit den Farben bin ich immer noch nicht soo zufrieden, ich habe auch schon eine Vermutung an was es liegen könnte, das die Bilder auf dem Copic-Papier dann so "over-saturated" aussehen.
Normalerweise sind die Farben beim scannen eher blass, und man muss Saturation hinzufügen, aber hier musste ich ja welche entfernen. Ich glaube weil das Copicpapier sooo dünn ist, nimmt es beim Scannen viel mehr Licht auf als es eigentlich sollte.
Werde bei Gelegenheit das Bild nochmal scannen und ein Blatt hinter das Bild legen nur um zu schauen ob meine Vermutung stimmt ^^'

Hm, das könnte ich auch mal ausprobieren. Die sollten endlich mal "Farbenechte Scanner" erfinden.

Telling by the looks, I almost thought you drawed Oliver Twist there. Well, it doesn't look like Twist anymore from close up, but still has some resemblance.
Anyway, lovely work as usual. The lawn grass somehow looks a bit bland and stands off compared to everything else, but who am I to criticize thins I couldn't do better?
Other than this, the colouring and the details are simply astonishing. Keep up the good work!

Haha, it should be a bit like that. Not that I wanted to copy it, but I absolutely adore the clothes from the time where Oliver Twist plays.
When I tried to come up with a name for the boys, I thought Oliver was really fitting so I chose it ^^'
Thanks for the compliments! I know the grass looks a bit off, I never drew this kind of picture with Copics before and didn't really knew how I should do it ^^' I'll need to practice with them more often anyway.

Well, the name DOES fit the character perfectly. It sounds so straight from this era!
And oh well, at least you're already practicing with Copics - I still need some courage to use'em.
