Anyone who has read "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck should know this character: the nameless tart.The poor woman, marooned on a farm with men and a egotistical husband. No one respects her, as she is only seen as a flirtatious trouble-maker. She only wants someone to talk to. She never did get the listener...
A picture to go with my English homework. This is a horrible attempt at realism, shading, and basic pencil art. her face and hair turned out pretty good, i think, but everything else is just...messed
i might want to move it to scraps >
oh well. this is why i'm not a pencil artist

We just had to write a paper all about Curley's wife in English...whether Steinbeck "condemns or condones her." But really I think she's only human.
