...So. The title means "A white rose as if you were my bride". The idea for this piece came suddenly while listening to an italian song, "Ti regalerò una rosa" by Simone Cristicchi. The text has nothing to do with Ginevra and Federico's story, but the refrain made me think to them. It approximatively says:
I'll give you a rose,
a red rose to paint everything,
a rose for every tear to relieve
and a rose for loving you.
I'll give you a rose,
a white rose as if you were my bride,
a white rose to make you forget every little pain.I never listened to many song of this singer, but this one actually breaks my heart everytime.
Also, I'm painting-maniac in these days. Through commissions I keep on painting and painting, ahah.

For the new watchers, a brief summary of the story: these two are half-siblings, but they are in love. Ginevra lived for almost 20 years in a monastery till Federico brought her away. They escape from their father, who didn't want Federico to know about the existance of Ginevra. In thos scene, they're still in the monastery, and Ginevra is slowing forsaking to live.
