wow... I always find doing a monotone site with one accent color quite difficult and usually they don't turn out and end up scraped. But this is really nicely executed. Nice use of wood texture and that highlight color that was pulled from the lamps.

The only thing i see is that the wood could be changed to more of an old heard-wood floor type. Where it's just panels of wood with smooth grain lines. It would add to the relaxed feel.
But very nice. I love the colours. Makes me think of fireflies. Hey! Add fireflies! lol

This looks excellent. Only issue I have is with the duplicate navigation menus at the bottom (seems a little redundant). Other than that, great job.

this is ok, but u need some work on text supremacy.. everything looks very alike so its hard to choose whats the important subject of the site. good colors and crisp imaging.. but try not to bullshit people on who ur clients really are.. why> well maybe because if u did work for nike or microsoft u wouldnt be in deviant art posting a test layout..

Very nice. Two quick suggestions though...
1. the font needs to be definitely looked into. The font looks too jagged and weird for this layout... doesn't quite fit in with the rest.
2. The wood textured bar going across the page in the middle needs to be a little toned down in terms of sharpness. It currently distracts the viewer from the rest of the layout.
But other than that it's a pretty cool design

It's a really nice design but I think you should change the search area, you can't see that this area is for searching around the site.

It looks very nice, but the wood texture, especially in the middle looks way too oversharpened / contrasted again. I mean that I like the layout overall but I dislike the wood.
