oh ty! -^_^- I am so glad that you like it. It took me a nice long while between doing stuff here at work. I am glad that you like the tribal wing design! I have been in a bit of a niche with those lately.

But indeed, it turned out wonderfully.

Well I had an awesome teacher... at least I didn't know she was awesome until I got out of the class. X.x it was torture while I was in it. If you want to get better you should read a Joseph Albers book. He mastered colors and has some really cool exercises that help you understand more about color. There was a really neat exercise where you actually made the same color look like it was two different colors by placing it on top of different colors and another exercise where you make two different colors (say like two different greyed down purples) and placed them on top of colors until they looked like the same color. It was hard but I have a much better understanding of color now.

I am sorry! If I still had the book I would just mail it to you. It was a great book. I can't believe how much color can contribute to a piece.

yes! I had everything on different layers at first and did all the shading then I combined them all and tried using it to blend in some of the line work. It works so great! -^_^- Me being a painter to it makes a lot more sense to me to use it.

I have a charcoal tool I use to just adore that was sort of like that.

Yes and so is the blend as well as the little trick in photoshop that will let you select only your line work X.x that was a nice little trick instead of having to go back and redraw your line on the computer.

Yes! It would which is why I miss photoshop so much. I am saving up all my money so that I can purchase a nice mac and put on the adobe suite so that I can do all kinds of graphic design, web site, and just plan fun manga stuff.

Yes one of my friends tried to talk me out of it but I had to just shake my head. "You have no idea how much time this will save me and in just two years of free lance work I could make my money back in full with just how much time I save.

Yeah it's hard because I was trying to explain how adobe (according all graphic designers as well as some of my personal experiences) Just works better on Macs. The updates don't cause it to mess up or have to hesitate with things. It is strange and I really do think that it is a qimick to make you want to buy a MAC but I am willing to spend the money for something that will help me out a lot in the long run lol sorry ranting.

Yeah I spoke with my boss's wife who is a professional graphic designer. She said that she tried to use the adobe suite on a hp at first but it seemed like the updates she received for the program caused it to go much slower and complicated things but when she used a mac for some odd reason the updates didn't do anything and she had no problems with it. (although she can afford to go out and buy a brand new MAC and the Adobe suite program every year so she basically uses the mac for one year then goes and gets a new one.) X.x

Sorry I am one who believes that all of those big corporations are only out to get as much as they can out of a cheaply made product. They no longer hold honor or respect and caring for their customers which is sad.

ugh x.x I have been debating on buying a smartphone. I have had the same slider for almost three years now. ToT I love my slider though! I just can't seem to give it up and also have a $100.00 phone bill to pay as well. I am hoping that if I wait it out I can get some better deals come Christmas time.

oh wow really? hmm... now I will have to reconsider this. I am waiting to see if I sell something at the gallery show. If I sell something then I will have the money to invest into the smart phone that I will need to run square so I can run people's credit cards that buy my work.

Nikikomangaka In reply to trences-bloodlust [2012-06-26 11:59:56 +0000 UTC]
Yes it is a program that lets you run people's credit cards. You don't pay any fees until you run the card. It is very convenient for whenever I am dropping off a piece of artwork and they want to pay me when I am doing that. I had no way to take their payment unless it was by check.
