Description 1) you start with your head base of course that you can find in this tutorial here [ [link] ] . Once I have the head base I will draw two lines one going from the top of the ear and the bottom. Now since this head is turned slightly you have a little bit of perspective going on which is why you have the lines receding in space.
2) Now on this second head I have also draw one more line going from where ever I put the line for the inner ear at. This is what I go off of for drawing my eyes. I also use my middle line that I drew before in order to place my mouth and of course since the head is turned the nose is going to be just a bit out.
3) Now I put in the eyebrows between the space of the eyes and the line that I drew off of the top of the ear. I also took the time to thin out her neck a little bit since I didn't think that it looked right just being a shape. I also added the glare in the eyes that I like. Everyone does eyes differently I just hope that this might help people with where to place them on the face.
4) Now since I have the head and face ready I would lightly sketch in the hair and determined that I wanted it to be blowing behind her. I also wanted a small piece of hair getting caught in front of her face because I know I have it happen to me all the time whenever the wind is blowing hard X.x. These are all organic shapes as well. I don't put in any hard lines because they are hard to erase so make sure to keep your marks really light.
5) So here I have started to get a little more detailed in the hair. Notice also that I used that middle like that I drew down the base head to also use as this girls part. It helps a lot when you are doing long hair especially if you want a girl with parted hair.
6)Now I have started getting darker with my lines. I like to heavily outline my characters a lot of times and it also helps when you have a character with long hair because then you can tell what is hair or just the space in between lumps of hair.
7) Now I got back in and lightly erase all of my gesture lines! I did a little shading. -^_^- I hope this helps out a few people! Let me know what you think!

ok is there a specific action? Like gripping onto something just hand gestures in general? Or maybe throwing, pulling back a bow string, or something of the sorts?

hmm I'd like gripping onto a sword or rail (coz its similar to sword)
and bending at the elbo. those are the types of movement I need, is that ok?
