Yeah, the PV looks amazing, though I admit I expected the designs to be a bit more detailed and less moe but I'm not complaining. It's already a blessing that we get animated Dianxia!

Well, if you compare it to the manhua's art then yeah, it's definitely a lot simpler. Then again, I expect it to have a lot of seasons since the novel is hella long so they probably didn't wanna blow all their budget on super detailed designs LOL 
The animation looks really nice and smooth though so I'm happy about that > w <

Oh, I'm not comparing it to the manhua at all, it has never crossed my mind! Expecting such level of details in animation is insane and just plain impossible. I tend to compare it a bit more to MDZS's donghua and how, especially at season two, the character design looks more mature. Like, if look at it you don't get the moe vibe, you get the handsome men vibe I know XL is supposed to look like a teenager, but I hope older (in appearance) characters like JW, MNQ and PM look more mature. If I didn't know anything about TGCF I wouldn't think this would be such a deep story, looking at the simple style. I find it hard to imagine the events of book 4 with that cute XL we saw.

Yes! I was thinking the same! There surely will be several seasons and I hope they will improve with time, but even if they don't (as long as they don't decay) it's still great. I really really liked the fighting scenes, badass XL looks awesome and that SEXY HC at the end is making me have high hopes! (That's the kind of 'mature, handsome' style I want to see more of) So I'm very happy as well!

Tbh I kinda wish all 3 novels were animated by the studio that did MDZS since that was just....so so gorgeous! 
I'm not too worried about how the other characters will look like since LW looked pretty mature so I don't think they'll end up looking too 'moe' lol

And yes omg we only got to see his mouth but HC already looks so good ;A;

Yessss, I feel the same!! MDZS's animation, character design and music are really is amazing!! It raised the animation quality levels by a lot for me!

Hahaha, yeah LW gave me quite a suprise with that grey hair but she looks beautiful and elegant! Tho I'm not a fan of FXMQ hair color but maybe that's because they are NFFY?? Maybe We'll get JW with white hair OMGGGG! Imagine QR with green hair. Oh God I hope they don't get too crazy with the hair colors tho.

HC gave me Hellsing vibes for some reason, and I know I'm not the only one.

Yeah, same here! I've seen other donghua before and none of them were nearly as beautiful as MDZS quality-wise *__*

Ah, yeah I hope they change their hair color when they're themselves! I even had to watch the PV twice because the first time, I thought they were the same person OTL
For QR I imagine he'll have dark hair but his skin will have a green-ish tint to it lolol
And omg...no rainbow hair please!
