This is my second cosplay as Ariel (I plan to make 3 more of her costumes). My boyfriend did shoot this costume during our holidays in Corsica.Related content

i love this pose it makes you wonder what Ariel is thinking, standing there the sunset on the third day. Prince eric spellbound by vanessa and Ariel heart broken watching the sun set by the ocean. Its beautiful! I think i would of liked to see her a bit more from a farther view to capture the moment a little more, not so straight on and up close. and maybe a little more messy, like her outfit and her hair, shes worried because she only has a short amount of time before she turns back into a mermaid. Though over all it looks very magical. great work!! i also like the shading from her and the sunset.

Love this!!! I sympathize with Ariel because I'm wheelchair bound. I sometimes feel I would give anything to be able to use my legs again but it's a double edge sword. This shot was beautifully done!

I LOVE everything about this picture! How the colours all come together so distinctively yet subtlety. And most importantly, I love how the INSTANT I saw this picture & the title and my heart wrenched! Thinking about the panic moment in the movie >.<Ā

This is the most striking Ariel shot I've seen in a long time. In a sea of Little Mermaids, you really stand out. (Sorry about the puns there! But I'm absolutely serious!

Not only is the costume well executed and to the usual high standard but I also love the photography in this piece. I mildly disagree with the suggestion about matching the lighting between model and sun. Rules are there to be broken. I think it's actually better that it's slightly unnatural as it highlights the main focus of attention, rather than the sunset. A superb job, well done!

Aaaaw, a wonderful scenery with Ariel
It's interesting imagining what human Ariel thinks whenever she looks at the sea. While other people would just say how beautiful it is or how they would like to swim right now, Ariel for sure thinks of her former home.

The costume is great (love the way it falls), and the idea is good as well; would've been much better, though, if the lighting on the model/foreground actually matched the sunset.

This is really beautifully! Out of all her dresses, Ariel's blue dress is my favorite! I don't know why some people go crazy over her pink one. And her bow is just adorable!

I love this shot. It's a great costume, but the part that I love best is that it really captures the moment from the movie. I can hear Ursula's voice in the background just looking at this. Great shot. Would be awesome if you could have had a boat off in the distance, but there's only so much you can arrange right?
