They sometimes just needed to take a break from, well…. everything.
Often made April two cups of hot cocoa with marshmallows and they sat on the porch, watching the snow in blissfull silence, till one of the others showed up or something shattered inside the house.

I like it. It's such a sweet scene of two friends sitting, worried, drinking something hot to keep away the cold, both in their bodies and their hearts. Well done!
