Skills: She is a very skilled craftsman when it comes to working with metals. She’s made every piece of jewelry she wears. Though she prefers not to get dirty or messy, when she gets completely absorbed in her work, she doesn’t mind getting soot and dirt on her scales. She has her very own forge, where she spends most of her time.
Personality: Ruby is very polite and mannered, seemingly more matured than the rest of the dragons her age. She is outgoing and friendly, but also very thoughtful. Sometimes she can come off as cold or distant when she has something on her mind, or is very busy. She always thinks things through and it bothers her when her friends won’t listen to her. She is very supportive of her friends and will strive to help them in any way. Sometimes she can get extremely jealous of other dragons, and it nags her for days.
Relationships:
Ember - She loves her mother and the two get along well. They spend a lot of time talking about jewelry and hanging out. But between working her forge and hanging with her friends, Ruby doesn’t have a lot of time to spend with her mom. She often likes to go out and help her mother gather different flowers. She rarely fights with her mom, but when she does, it’s the equivalent of a volcanic explosion.
Flame – Flame is very proud of Ruby’s skills. He loves her very much and the two get along well. She often lets him visit the forge and shows him her work. Despite the fact that she has chosen the path of a blacksmith, he hopes that one day she may become the next fire guardian after him.
Spyro & Cynder: Basically her aunt and uncle, she always acts polite and respectful towards them. She looks up to them and hopes that one day, she two can make a difference with her skill as a blacksmith. She and Cynder are very close, since Cynder knows a lot about blacksmithing and often drops by the forge to give her helpful pointers and tips. It was Cynder who also taught her how to make jewelry. Spyro feels very proud of her, despite the fact that he’s not her father. He gives her extra gemstones that he finds on his travels and encourages her to follow her dreams.
