Description
First, you may recognize this piece: it was posted under my old DA name, so sorry for any confusion! However, it recently got an upgrade and is ready for posting!As for the character herself, I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge Demona fan; she was a nasty, crazy villain and I actually found it very hard to sympathize with her …ah… genocidal tendencies! She was such a key component to the story and Gargoyles wouldn’t be the same without her, and she’s truly a damn fine villain.

i loved Demona. she was gorgeous, dominating, and new exactly what she wanted and how to get it.
plus, her disdain of humanity made her even more attractive to me.

I was rather fond of Demona, not because of her genocidal tendencies, but because she refused to see that she was to blame for everything that happened to her, which makes me think that she was never blamed for things in the old clan, or at least the blame was never pinned solely on her. She's a rather tragic character, evil and cold, yet we have seen that she does have a caring side to her when it comes towards Angela, but even then it gets pushed to the side because of her lust for revenge.
She is a villain who is the cause of her own problems really and she was so well done character-wise that I think that is why so many fans love her.
