I've been practicing drawing weasels a lot lately because it occurred to me one day that I haven't a clue how their anatomy works. Well, now I know. And now I can draw weasels better. These are all drawn from various pictures I Googled, but I added a bit more anatomical detail like rib cages and stuff like that to help understand their odd little bodies a little more. I enjoy their slinky-ness. Represented here are least weasels, short-tailed weasels, and long-tailed weasels.Related content

ahh i've always wanted to draw weasels! i love weasels and ferrets and the like, ever since i rescued a really tame ferret and returned him to his loving owner, so cute and slinky!

I like doing anatomy studies...but doing it with unfamiliar animals (or animals that don't entirely exist but you want to be believable) can be very frusturating at times...in a good way though.
