the farther left ear looks shorter than the right, and the left side of the face looks different than the other. Other than the face i didnt notice anything else really, just the other side of the face

Wooooo...purdy. Heh. I'd say it's great for a sketch and using an unfamiliar pen. I know how that can be...having to even change pencils...when they're technically supposed to be the exact same or something.
It's amazing what you can get done in class...heh. If you really want to get into some shading with pens, you just have to work with lots and lots of small marks...and how close together they are, etc, but I'm certain you know this, since you were cross hatching and such.
The ear that's further back seems ever so slightly off, but it's still nice and you can barely notice it anyway. XP Good work.
