Mossy logs are the BANE OF MY EXISTENCE I tell you!!! Mehates them!!! Now this is just something I have been working on since...the day after Christmas. I started it on the plane ride to CA and finished it today, March 11th. This was simply a experiment to see just how detailey I'd let myself go if I had no time limit or anything stopping me. And this is the result. It's not terribly large, the wolf is only about 5 and a half inches from the tip of the ear to the bottom of the thick part of the log. So yeah, not big, but can you say DETAIL FREAK?! Mm I'm so weird sometimes. Yeah, I'm just really really happy I'm done with this cause it too sooo long....and...yeppyepp. Fear the wolfy. Actually no, fear the log. The EVIL MOSSY LOG mwahahahahahaha!!! It will try to detail you to death....you must beware it.....and by the way, this was done in mechanical pencil w/ a picture referamence.Related content

(But let me say one bad comment: the eyes look like eyes of a dog, not like eyes of a wolf. But only wolf fanatics will recognize it, so it's O.K.

Hehe, yeah I know what you mean about the eyes...they were like that in the reference picture cause it was a young wolfy and it still had that sort of....iono, not really puppyish but just...more playful look. Silly wolfsey

I am familiar with the pic. you used to referance this off of and I have to say you did a brilliant job capturing my fav. image from that little calender. How large is this image? I have not used mecha pencil myself but was wondering if you had to have multiple leads as you do when using others pencils, like an HB or 2B etc etc. Ihave a set of like 12 different leads. I've always hated having to replace pencil leads in mecha pencils and if I had to keep changing leads to get certain darknesses I'd scream. Was this done using various leads?
