i cant speak for everyone else, but this was so moving for me personally. it is so romantic, the look, the feel, the soft lighting, its all so surreall. i look at the two figures and i can feel the mans gentle touch and how he is carefully carrying his mermaid. I love looking at art that touches me, and this one certainly touched me. i feel his warmth and the caressing way he holds her and i can feel her need to be embraced and taken care of. she looks cherished and he appears to be her protector, kind of like letting her know that in his arms everything would be okay. i dont know any woman who would not want to be held and cherished this way.
the concept itself is brilliant, it speaks to thousands of people out there. the idea itself, being taken care of when you are unable to help yourself, speaks to many of us, and that is what i feel when i see this. i dont see digital work or painting or anything like that. i look at this and feel, and that to me is art.
to be honest, it is so soft and gentle and heartwarming that it made my eyes a bit misty. conceptually and ideally, its amazing, and i thank you for doing this as its truely beautiful.
