In the cold bitter snow, there was a family walking through the snow, they were of royalty. The wolves hid in the bushes ready for ambush and dinner.

The family that walked in the snow were not just any family...they were of deer spirit. Deer shifters. The king Stag, queen doe, prince and princess fawn were trudging down the white beautiful snow... somewhere in Florida. I know what you're thinking. Snow? In Florida? That's ridiculous! But it was kind of not. This marked the first time in ever that snow had appeared in Florida. It was very cold. Every one panicked at the first sign of snow. The prince and princess thought different so the family of deer set off to play.

Back to where we left off...

The Deer shifter family did not know of the silent wolves just yet. They were walking when the king stag heard the growls and awkward snow crunching from the paw of a new comer wolf pup.

"Hon..." The stag said.

"What is it?" The doe said.

She turned around and saw the wolves. She looked in panic.

"Run!" The stag screamed.

The prince and princess fawns ran for home and so did the parents.

The wolves ran after them. Growls and howls galore.

The princess was frightened of the wolves in the wolves in the area but the prince had gone through this many times... and so did his Puma brother who was guarding their home. He was daydreaming peacefully. He was also of age thirteen and was felt a little too old to play in the snow with his brother and sister.

Meanwhile, during the brother's daydream, the Deer family had ran zig zags in the snow, The wolves gaining. The father stag thought in his mind, No more. He went back where he went and charged at the wolves thrashing them.

The fawns escaped but the doe looked back as she ran.

"Keep running! I got them!" Said the stag. He fought hard with the wolves.

The doe wife ran after the kids and made it to home.

The nearly sleeping brother snapped out of his daydream to see his family coming towards him.

"What the?" He said.

"Get in!" The doe mother said.

They all went in the thicket home they use as a forest home. It was for vacationing in the wild as Deer.

"Where's dad?" The Puma brother asked.

Suddenly the king stag was walking with two bucks. They were his friends. The stag was hurt and tired but definitely still in fighting spirits.

"Oh man." The Puma brother whispered.

The king walked in the thicket closely.

"You guys need to go back in human form." One of the bucks said. "It's dangerous here."

"We will when he heals back up." The doe said. "We will stay in here for the rest of the day."

"Yes mom." said the three.

"Daisy, Mercury, are you alright?" said the king in a quiet tone.

"I'm alright." said Mercury the prince fawn. "But I'm not too sure about my sister."

"I'm alright." said Daisy the princess fawn. She was a little shaken up.

That would be the longest day ever the next day... at least for a certain wolf pack that turned out to not be a natural wolf pack.

They were found out by the king through a conversation the pack was holding in human form. It did not go well. It was indeed an accident that the wolves had tried to attack them. Fortunately though, he forgave them but next time it will be another strike.
