This is my favorite peice of all my done in english class art lol! I thought about what I'd never drawn before, and I thought about those cool double ended ronin swords. So I did an quick sketch and fell in love with this pose. Then I tried to make the shadow tones as intense as I could without losing the overall feeling to the high contrast. I like the overall effect quite a bit.Related content

I should do something... I haven't really done anything with this since I drew it about a year or so ago. I think I might take a crack at it soon actually! Stay tuned to find out!

Samurai are definately one of my favorite things to draw. I actually need to learn to draw different things lol! Its hard to draw things in an interesting way when you arent' particularly interested in the subject matter.
