This is a drawing requested by an old friend of mine who I went to secondary school with.Drawn on 300 Series Bristol Board (Smooth) a little smaller than A4, using a range of 2H to 8B pencils and charcoal for the background, blending stumps, erasers and tissue paper.
I'm not too happy with the background; it was a bit of an experiment with charcoal which I haven't used for many, many years, and I instantly regretted it! But I learned to avoid charcoal at all costs for now, until I'm more used to it!

This is very nice, complete piece of work. I would add some darker value on the background behind the baby so she could pop out a little bit from the picture. Shading on the suit of baby is great. In my opinion you don't have to be worry.
