Kyle's mother Arisa was a student in Hokkaido University when she was accepted into a research program in Miami, Florida.  While studying for her PHD she was researching preventives and remedies of alcohol side affects.     Shortly after beginning her research, Arisa was forced to take a sabbatical.  Though she resumed right after the birth of her son.  Kyle started a normal childhood with a hard working single mother except for his unusual desire for grape juice and his constant attempts to convince his mother to let him participate in the research process, which on a few rare occasions he managed to persuade his mother to let him drink the wine in the cabinet and see the affects on a child the age of 9 after the consumption of grape juice with mint leaves and eucalyptus.
