It's a lot of time since I want to start with street photography, I'm very serious with my intentions but... I'm still afraid of people noticing me, the dslr camera makes a lot of noise

There are a lot of tips and tricks out there on the net for street photography. I started out using a telelens, not having to be too close. With a wide angle, you can practise shooting from the hip and in a noisy, busy environment to be less obvious. I also often shoot while moving. You need good light for that to get short shutter times but... Practise gets you better with time and you will notice that it's not so dangerous as you thought.

We met pretty quickly on the sidewalk. She caught me with the camera, but she didn't stop to say anything.
