You may have been wondering why, in the credits, I put in "and Dextro". Well, here's your answer. Tared's Heartless, the ever evil, ever twisted, and ever powerful Dextro! I wasn't officially sure what his name was at first, so I turned 'Dextra' into something more evil. Hence, Dextro! I also got help from Destro of G.I. Joe, obviously, for those who know the series.
Now, I'm sure you're wondering why he's wearing what almost looks exactly like Vanitas' bodysuit. Simple....I LOVE the epic Bodysuit him and Evil Riku wore, and knew that Dextro would wear it in "human" form! And yes, I said human form. Because, like Ansem the Heartless, this is only a disguise/smaller form, to make it easier to get around and kill people, stealing their hearts and/or making Heartless. I did, though, make Dextro's bodysuit as different from Vanitas' as possible by changing the coloring. Instead of red, a darker crimson. Instead of blue and red, his tail/skirt/whatever-you-call-it is purple and black. The silver parts of his outfit, including the mask's metal, is gold instead of silver. Again, wanted to diverse away from Vanitas.
You're probably wondering as to the weird black anomaly around Dextro's left. See.....I smurfed him up while drawing. I realized my mistake too late, and knew it would be a terrible pain to fix. But, that turned out well! I started making the black anomaly as a cover-up, and it turned into a story!
See, Dextro is a being of pure Darkness. Well, he's a Heartless, right? So 'course he it. But so much so, that if you were to cut off a part of him, this is what would happen: The section cut or blasted off would explode into black sand and fall to the ground. The sand would then rise up, and form a cloud of pure darkness, no longer sand at this point. The cloud of darkness will then pour back into the missing part of Dextro, and revert back to normal, as if he were never harmed. Kinda like Gaara of the Sand, only a bit different. Cool though, how my epic fail turned into an epic success! So just to clarify, no, that's not a claw coming out of him. No, it's darkness reforming his missing section.
As for his Keyblade? Well, let's just say, Dextro's not supposed to have a Keyblade. He created it himself by taking power from the Darkus Bakugan Percival, and the residual power of the Storm Rider Heartless. It's an evil and powerful Keyblade, and he enjoys the anger it causes in Dextra. Dextro does, though, have his own Doorguard, but since his left arm was eradicated, I decided to leave it out. I may draw it individually later, but for now, just Dextro. I will, though, be uploading an individual piece of his Keyblade, since I needed to know what I was drawing when I drew Dextro.
