Great painting!!

You know, most of the world is missing what I see in this depiction....Love... without all the "material" things....the vows "for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, for better or worse" mean nothing to people nowadays...its really sad that people have let themselves get to this point.

You're right The material means to be are more valuable to today's culture than how to be properly with each other I was going today on the street slowly walking and I've heard bits of other ppl speaking with each other - what do you thing are the most topics of such talks? Mobile phones and taxes and new financial offerings and marketing and advertisements and again computers and mobile phones And of course last evening drinking Weird I think What about art? and holidays? and nature? and science? or even family matters? What about speking about other PEOPLE to people for gods sake But I think that the man is much younger than her here and so he could be rather her son not husband. Her son returned from harvest with his scythe and prepering a meal for him and his mother, or maybe his mother is not going to eat and this is her keeping him company before he returns to work on the field. She is thinking something like remembering old days, but she is comfortable with her son's care. that is my imagination here
