Have to get at once... they look a lot like me in my winter gear     Only my shoes are for -40c and trousers very thick. Maybe jacket is also bit heavier. Hat is near.

I'm in love with those "skis". I can get to sea ice "from front door". Bothnian gulf is 200m away.

I have the Sorel Caribou, too.
I bought it when travelling to Nowosibirsk. Here in Middle Bavaria I do not need them, well, at the moment, but who knows.
In a few regions skiien is possible, but not where i live... this jear we had snow only for a few days... And I think it won't become more. :/
It look beautiful, what i found for 'Bothnian gulf' on google. A bit I miss the dry cold weather liek it was in Sibiria. Germany is much too humid.

In south I would not have any use for them but here in heavy use during winter. 

Nowosibirsk... I have missed that part of Russia. Was working short assignment in Samara and then jump to Vladivostok. I Have been many times in Astana but that is south west from there.

I really like Bavarian region in Germany. I was one and half years assigned to Munich.

Skiing is difficult even in south Finland. They don't have snow every winter. 

Here winter fun is good when it is not too cold. After sea is frozen there is no humid wind spoiling everything.

I was in Nowosibirsk in winter and loved it. But I really miss Moscow, i don't know why.

Where didn't you work? You've seen the whole world!

I have never vistied USA and Azerbaijan I cannot go because I have stamp from Karabakh in my passport  

The funniest is that I was never working in Finland. Now first time I try to find job from here.

I should see discount flights and visit Munich only for good beer if nothing else.

Nowosibirsk must be rough in winter. Moscow is crazy place. It is like own world separated from this reality.
