you HAVE to do some postprocessing, crop it, make it brighter, add contrast and saturation (slightly) and resize the shot. at the end you apply some USM and voila your shot looks so much better

That was row 2 but i used a digital slr and 180mm lens that doubled to 270mm so i get him that much closer. i'm still working on the exposure. Thank you for the comments!!

phantoms are pretty cheap...i think now they are about 18 or 19 dollars for lower level and i believe friday nights with a student id you can get in for 8 bucks. i miss the flyers so much. there was a funny article in todays inquirer about the NHL. i dunno if you are familiar with it but the one writer, tim pinaccio (who usually covers flyers) wrote an SAT exam for the owners and the league. pretty funny.
who's your favorite flyer?

yeah me and my one friend were thinking of getting one of the packages to the phantoms games and my dad remarked that for the same price we've gotten our regular two games instead of the 6 we were planning to go to...that's really funny that he wrote an SAT...i think i'm going to have to find the paper now and read it....
my favorite flyer's John LeClair..and of course JR is great...and i adore Esche...he would've been great this year especially after the surgery...

yeah, flyers prices are ridiculous, but i still pay to see them. i think its horrible that there is no hockey. atleast the phantoms have won 17 in a row. so its something to talk about but its just not the same. JR is awesome. One night after a game my friend and i stood by where the flyers leave at the Center, and he stopped to sign for the fans, what was funny is that he acted like he was gonna hit everyone with his car. i agree, Esche woulda been awesome this year. it seemed like the whole team was doing well last year, great chemistry. Really sucks about the lockout. i have a feeling that we won't see the nhl for a loooooong time.

i love JR's antics...he's soo funny...i've watched him on coatesy's corner whenever he's on...no one can keep a straight face....
who's your favorite?

Well it seems that every time i get a favorite player and a jersey they get traded. But my favs have included Rod Brind'Amour, and now i have a couple favorites: Simon Gagne, Keith Primeau and Jeremy Roenick....as well as Jim Vandermeer.
JR is awesome though. Changing subject....I'm also really liking Terrell Owens on the Eagles. Definitely reminds me of JR...I could see the two of them as well as Mike Leiberthal doing some Toyota commericals together!

yeah for the past couple of years i've liked some of the goalies that are now eslewhere...I loved Boucher and Hextall...
i would die to see TO, JR, and Leiberthal in a commercial...that would be a blast!...but yeah i think the eagles are doing a really good job with him on the team...not like they weren't doing bad before but they're better this year...

Bulan Wall! I watched him during the 2000 Olympics...me and my dad stayed up til 2 or 3 in the morning to watch the Russia vs. US game...that was really cool...
yeah...i can't really watch basketball...it's way too back and forth...and it's too easy to score...i went to a game once and it was sit, stand, sit, stand...i felt like i was doing squats or something...lol
man i love Fedoruk! that really sucks! I've never been to a practice...i've always wanted to go...have you?

Aww...Boosh was awesome!!! Gotta love the 2000 playoffs. (Even if they did lose) I also must say that I am a fan of Nikolai Khabibulan. Loved him since he was a Coyote. Eagles are doing a great job. And atleast there is something to watch, basketball does absolutely nothing for me. I don't even think the Sixers are doing that well. Oh and back to hockey, I also liked Todd Fedoruk, and the poor guy, finally plays for the phantoms this season, one game, and gets hit in the face and breaks his orbital bone and is out for a long time, and the worst part is it happened while he was sitting on the bench. Talk about bad luck!!!

Have you ever been to a Flyers practice?
