Haha, he's a bit touchy isn't he? And calling Rom " shitty boxy looking character" was nasty ,but as a pro he doesn't have to like his subject I suppose.
Interesting info on the blog although it's not clear to me what they mean about staying true to the character,was there some background in the toy line or they have permission to use Marvel created plots?

there's no such thing as a patent on a plot lines especially just about an alien invasion of Earth. it's all about the characters marvel created. by "staying true to the character" they're basicallyΒ talking about his personality. as for the "shitty looking" comment i had to correct him on that as you could see.

Yes, I really liked how you mentioned such giants as Buscema and Golden have worked on Rom, he's not a character to be ridiculed easily and I know we disagree strongly on this, but I liked also Ditko`s run especially with the beautiful inks of P.graig russell
