Things are looking up as the sky fills with stars.
The leaves are changing and look ready to fall.
The night air falls cool on my face,
Leaving the answer that the South is where I belong.
Sitting on my back porch, smoking a cigarette,
I finally feel at home.
Every breath I take is clearer and cools me down.
Walking outside at night is like a symphony,
Feeling the vibrations of nature flowing through my veins,
I take every chance I can to feel the love of the world.
Alabama feels like heaven and every second feels like a million.
