Omg haha that is adorable! XD and one day Bam isn't there so Starkey reluctantly decides to ask Hayden to get him something and Hayden does but later on he just doesn't let it go and makes subtle jokes about it because lets be honest he isn't scared of Starkey at all he has at least a foot on him in height and Starkey's pride starts to vanish slowly xD

haha yes! And Hayden would just pat him on the head and be like "it's okay, big guy" all condescending because Hayden's the only one not afraid of Starkey and he's so sarcastic anyway.Β

YES! And Starkey walks away from Hayden plotting how he's gonna punish him 50 different ways in a span of 30 seconds but let's face it Starkey is never gonna see the day when he gets to string Hayden up by his pretty little neck

Definitely! Poor Starkey. As much as I hated him, I started to feel bad for him right at the end.Β

Same... I kind of cried in UnDivided at THAT scene... you know... even though I can't stand the guy!Β

Oh yeah, I cried too! I didn't expect to be so emotional about it! The entire series I was like "wow I hate this kid, he's gonna get what's coming to him" and then at the end I was like "nooo not like this!"Β

I know!!!! I actually expected him to die in the end but when it came around I did not expect it?!? Oh, the irony!Β

Ah, yeah! I expected him to die too and that I would be like "well you deserved it" but then when it actually came to that scene it was pretty painful to read!Β

Oh, totally! Like what happened to Starkey, and OF COURSE CONNOR, and even everything Lev did. Ahhh, it was a really great last book though, I think it wrapped up everything really well.Β

Yess!! Omfg I was like "is this really happening" when Connor's part came... oh my god. I bawled at Lev's part. Why. But I was so satisfied with how it ended; I honestly think it's one of the best written endings to a dystopia series I have read. Brilliant! And the last chapter was so strong and emotional.. man, I'm still so sad it ended! But all good things have to come to an end I guess.Β

I totally agree! And I;m really excited for Unbound to come out next month. I have no idea what to expect from it but I'm excited to see more of the Unwind universeΒ

Same!!!! I'm SO PUMPED. Even though I like how UnDivided ended I'm still wondering what the characters did after... I wonder if it'll come up in UnBound? I wonder how many stories will be focusing on the main three, and I wonder if characters like Hayden, Starkey, Bam, Cam, etc. will have some page-time as well? I'm REALLY hoping there's more Hayden because I need more of him in my life... and for some reason I'm really wondering what Bam did after they told Starkey to leave and Hayden left to broadcast afterwards. I still have so many questions ahhΒ

SAME! Like, as happy as I was with the ending, I think I'll always want more because I love these characters and this universe so much! Ah, I really hope Hayden gets some page-time, I love him so much. Yeah, I'd love to see more from Bam too, since we really don't know much about what happened to her afterward. Honestly, I just want to see more of all the characters, and how they're coping! Only a month left

Augh same! >.< I don't think I've ever been so invested in book characters before except for Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. I love them so much! I can't wait!!Β

I know! Unwind is definitely one of my favorite series ever. I'm so glad he turned it into a series since it was originally just a stand alone novel. And omg! I didn't know you liked Percy Jackson too. I was so into the series years ago and I just back into it a few months ago haha

bloodyhellhayden In reply to niktropolis [2015-11-16 23:00:14 +0000 UTC]

Yes, Unwind is definitely my favorite series! I'm glad he did too because, while I can see that it could be a great standalone, it was amazing to see more of the world and see what the characters continued to do and see more of their development! I read the original PJO series a long time ago and I'm planning on rereading it soon!! I only read the first two books of the Heroes of Olympus; I read The Son of Neptune when it first came out and I remember I was kind of disappointed with it so I never picked up the rest. I think I should though, but go back and reread the other two before haha. I'm not as into PJO as I was but I still love it loads!!!Β

Yeah! It was great as a standalone novel and I loved it then too, then I remembered finding out there was a sequel a few years later and being like WHOA. But omg I was the same with PJO! I read the first two of Heroes of Olympus books when they came out but never finished them because I just couldn't get into them. Then over the summer I decided to give them another try and they were great! Of course, it still couldn't beat the original PJO series haha

Man I just finished rereading Unwind and I'm gonna reread UnWholly soon too.. oh man. As much as I love the first book I think the second is my favorite! Also UnDivided<3 And I think I'm going to give the HoO books another try! I've meant to for a while now but never got around to it because of other books I have on my TBR list.Β
