Description My first marker outline! I know it's not perfect (by a long shot), but it was my first try at it so I guess it came out allright. The only things that I'm not too happy about are how rough the outsides are and the fact that I screwed up on the nose.XP I could not fix it! That's what I get for not paying attention.

Anyways, for the outline I used a "Fine Point" Sharpie. Proffesional, right? Don't blame me, it's the only kind of marker I have. Plus I was just trying this out.

I will finish this up later but to really finish it, I need a red marker. So I'll be looking for one those. That's why I chose to use Yakko: his head only needs two colors.

Might scrap this later. I'm not sure. Maybe after I get the colored version up. What do guys think?

Not bad, not bad at all. I remember the first time inking... Mine actually didn't turn out as clean as this. I had shaky hands. :/

Anywho, in the future I'd suggest not using Sharpies for inking. Try getting yourself Micron or Rapidograph pens. The ink in those won't turn brown and eat the paper.

You should continue with this. Once you get comfortable enough with a pen, I suggest moving on to brush inking as well (I ink with pens and brushes. Check my gallery out if you're interested). You have potential. I like all of your drawings. C:

Thanks.^^ I was worried about having shaky hands on this. Especially about how much I liked it before inking.

Yeah, I truthfully didn't want to use a Sharpie, and I don't plan on using it in the near future. I knew it wasn't the best choice but I wanted to at least try something. I'll try and look for those kind of pens.

Thanks you very much! And thanks for the tips!

Yup, glad to help. C:

Oh, yeah, and if you make a mistake with ink you can always go over it with a little white-out. The kind that comes in pen form works best for me.

I was looking for some white-out to fix the nose around the house but I couldn't find any. Thanks for reminding me to get some.
