part of the challenge i was doing was...pick a part of the human anatomy you got trouble with... (hands)
then do a study...draw it 20 times...with at least 5 muscle/skeleton studies O_O the skeletal studies were fun though
reminds me of when i was drawing ghosts/skeletons/vamps when i was little ^^
this challenge is gonna be hellish....(30 days of improvement hell....name fits)
now i gotta do 20 gesture/silhouette/pose sketches...with 10 diff body types O_o...
after a couple more, i gotta start drawing full illustrations with backgrounds and perspective .....

they did help....they really did.....i got better at drawing hands without refs....
it's just a lot of joints/limbs to consider xD
but yep....i was a bit crazy towards the end there....seeing hands everywhere 8D
btw i'm planning on making an illustration sort of...off the black cauldron movie...

i mean...the comic shop i buy my comics in, the guy left for that comic festival last week (the one oomi went to, but it was a wee bit far for me to go :/ )
and he took almost everything with him, but he left the box with the wolverine comics behind.......geesh, i wonder why?

xD it's just, he's got single issues...and annual/one-shot/special issues that can only be found privately owned :/
been filling up the blanks....so...i need 3 more issues...then i'm done with volume 3 (90 issues, 2 annuals)
3 more issues, and then i'm done with origins (origin 1-6, origin II 1-5, origins 1-50, 1 annual).....
i really went all out on this comic collecting thing O_o....a couple of my friends have less comics than me...combined...and they've been collecting for years xD

similar 0-60 and back to 0 again just like that XD get really in to something the boom interest lost, few months later boom back

and i live in a country that's still in the stone age when it comes to pop culture....any pop culture in general...
seriously....we have one chain of comic book shops...prob 4-5 in the whole country.....and these are over-priced...inpersonal...
i dont like the people who work there either, they dont wanna actually help you...
whenever i asked them if they could manage to order this or that comic, they just checked a screen and said "sorry, out of print, try ebay" *walks away*
seriously....they really wanna keep their customers eh?`xD
so when i found this other new comic shop that opened, the guy literally orders everything i mention when i'm there, and it's there in a few days O_o and the prices are good
and people actually talk to each other there 8D
another example? the dreamfall vid games....the only internationally successful vid game developed by norway........and the guy who made it wanted to wrap up the series, see?
our so called "rich" country didnt give him any resources at all :S it's like a bunch of old fashioned 100 y olds are sitting behind the curtains...
so he went to kickstarter.....and earned 600 000 £ in donations.... THEN they suddenly wanted to give him a small boost.....O_o....seriously..

Had someone of late say I don't like people with less experiance than me telling me whats wrong with the picture...Like yeah thas a good attitude to have, he's 18 ffs and he how the hell does he know who is and isn;t better thn him. on this job i've just had, they owned this cat, right?
so this cat kept sitting next to me, or stared at me while i was painting (was a paint job)
and once, his eyes were like, a few inches away from mine, and i went "HOLY SHIT! YOU SCARED ME" *realized i'm talking to a cat*
....*scratches cat behind ear*...*purrrrrr*....
so he always wanted a scratch, and butted his head against my ankle if i didnt do it xD or he tried to lick my hand clean from paint...which he found out was a bad idea lol...
but.....when my brother even tried to get NEAR him..he ran away.....it was like he couldnt stand being within a 10 foot radius of him xD he tried to get near the cat, but nop...didnt work..
the owners didnt know why lol... *yes..i find animals funny, dont judge
ye....and some days...i wonder when i stopped caring, or maybe i still do...but maybe i'm just starting to get jaded towards stuff like that...
maybe i was a bit of a pushover, and i really wanted that to stop....but i feel lots of people cut me off when they couldnt make me do whatever they wanted...
and you know what? 8D SCREW THEM!
