I can only imagine some sort of dark au that follows this scene where Gabriel and Cas take kid sam and dean back to the future to show adult sam and dean and the entire past has been rewritten and it's no longer John winchester searching for the demon that killed mary but a frantic hunt to find the kidnapper/s of his children that spans decades until he finally meets grown sam and dean with little sam and dean in tow and just kinda freaks out. -_-
