Thank you! Even though it is the lighting and isn't part of her true design, thanks c:

Hi cx
Daa I really love the mood of this picture, the lighting on the trees is really mystical
Keep it up

You're welcome! I think that happens to most people; when we worry all the mistakes in our pictures but other people think they're fine, because we are our worst critics right?
is that how you say it?
my problem is that usually when i submit a deviation i look at it and suddenly realize i forgot something - like the texture - and i end up reuploading it >.<

Ohh, yeah, forgetting certain things and you're like URGH gotta trip load this again. Then noticing another mistake xD Or maybe that's just me? Cx

Ugh that happened to me recently. I had to keep redoing a certain picture from a point because I forgot the markings, or I got the text wrong, or I made some lining mistake and it was always annoying to fix because I had to open the old layered file and redo all the mistakes again when I noticed another one, and that's why I'm changing my style to a simpler version xD

Oh gosh, that happens Q-Q And after you tried to make it so neat the first time and it looks really good and then you realize you can't use the lines xD
Once I made that mistake and I ended up erasing all the guidelines from the layer and it took a while x3

Yes! Sometimes we spend so much time on one area of the drawing XD But at least it shows what we do and the effort we put into our art c:

MythBird In reply to Nimiszu [2014-08-15 02:54:42 +0000 UTC]
Yeah! I always want the art I post to look appealing as possible ;u;
And sometimes when I'm too focused on making the picture as good as possible I lose track of time xD
Sometimes it takes way too long to finish and the picture just comes out looking only decent x3
When I'm trying to make it look really good or detailed it can have the opposite effect on the picture

Yeah!! I have to agree that happens to me way too often xD For myself though, the sketch may look way nicer than the finished product at times, or it would look good without colour or certain effects and bla... Especially when you spent so much time on it but when you view it without a certain part of the picture, you feel like it looks better that way cx

MythBird In reply to Nimiszu [2014-08-16 02:41:28 +0000 UTC]
That's true xD
Sometimes I prefer things to be simpler, when it becomes too detailed sometimes it becomes messy or odd looking; at least, when I'm trying to detail it, because my details are not great. xD
(Not sure if this is too relevant but when I see a black-and-white drawing and then someone's fan coloring of it, it usually looks odd. Probably because the old drawing was in a simpler style and coloring it with all the gradients and etc. made the lines look weird against the color?)
I'm actually preferring the look of the drawings I'm doing without shading :3
Anyway, you have to make everything work together and all and sometimes it's hard to keep drawings consistent. >.<

Nimiszu In reply to MythBird [2014-08-17 20:15:30 +0000 UTC]
Yup! Yeah sometimes my details makes it look like it is blending and/or smudging into the background, which doesn't look too clean and makes some details not visible xD
Some styles do look or feel better without the shading, while the shading can add a certain personality or mood to it c: or just a certain maaagicalness! Though without shading can give the picture something unique as well, though with myself I can't stop myself from shading or add things until nothing can be added no more without it looking weird xD
Everyone's unique art styles make art well, our own! That is what I find quite interesting about making it. (Excuse me if my paragraph may sound weird or wonky, I was typing fast on my ipad xD)

Agreed!
Ae, when I paint digitally I throw on so many colors and repaint a lot so they come out kind of muddled, I can't get my paintings to look sharp or anything and have certain textures x3 I can't paint well
I've had some trouble making my art style consistent, though. As I observed different styles my own style kept changing xD I think I've finally got something, though.
you're excused xD
