Three more 30min scenery speedpaints! The two on the sides
are random/from imagination that I made to practice forests (and
working with more green in general), and the painting in the middle
was a study from a photo I took looking over our backyard into the
neighborhood.
I cannot explain how difficult it is for me to draw cubic/straight objects
digitally- I'm just someone who loves to draw organic structures and
messy terrain, so getting the main aspects of the environment down
in the allotted time proved a good challenge! I really need to practice
more with manmade spaces digitally~

Feel free to comment as well, I really appreciate them! Thanks for viewing my art~

Yay another set of wonderful studies! UI love the one with the houses and how the lighthing is achieved. And that light blue reflections on the rocks together with the lilac tones on the river give a very nice color variation and realistic sensation to the landscape

The houses proved a great challenge for sure! Loved working with the lighting too, though It's always fun to build up that contrast between the lit and unlit points of the scene I really appreciate your sweet comments, thank you as always c:

Jesus, Nim, that's amazing! Seriously, how do you do that?! In the foresty one, the colors are really breath taking, like I can feel the air and the sounds and it looks so alive and vibrant but also deep and kind of calm, how did you even manage to do this? I'm also vey impressed by the village, how you made the houses look nice and geometrical without using too sharp edges (which always happens to me hah) and the water! I like how the mountains in that one are fading in the distance and how te water just looks so realistic!
You're a pro, Nim <3

OH gosh, your comments make me smile like crazy!! You don't know how happy it makes me to here that speedpaints as messy as these evoke something like that. That's what I've been striving to improve
Aha, the last one was a mess until I added the water hiding those mistakes xD I'm glad it worked out c':
Thank you Wylfen

It's nice to see your new submission! (Sadly my browser has some error displaying the #6) The left one, its light effect is so appropriate, not that strong, that's the part I love most. TBH I am really eager to wander in the forest but it just seems impossible for me. Then comes the middle one, well, due to my bad health, I spent most of my time staying in my room, (and hospital to be more precise) I did also take some photos of the surroundings, instead of several houses, there is a small lake outside my window. But I'm not capable to draw it in such a realistic way. Actually, I don't even have the courage to give it a try. Finally, the last one. It reminds me of the scenery of TengLong Cave, a popular tourist attraction in Hubei. I went there many years ago but it left me a deep impression. This piece pulls me back to those golden old days. Frankly speaking, I am fed up with the dull white color in the hospital and these speedpaints really refreshed me. They widened my horizon to some degree, and provided a possible way for me to find the beauty of nature that I missed. I really adore these magical drawings!

No worries! I always really appreciate your thoughtful comments Windy^^
Oh, if you have a bunch of photos on hand, it never hurts to try <333 You can take you time or time yourself, be messy or proceed with it cleanly! You can do it; even if it doesn't turn out the way you'd like it to (or as realistically as you'd like, as with a lot of these speedpaints of mine) they still prove to be some good practice at least c':

It means the world to me to hear that even something as little as these paintings means what they do it you I loved hearing about how the last one reminds you of your trip to that cave! I just had to search it up and that location is gorgeous; very interesting

I hope you've been feeling better these days! Really, thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts again
