Poser is a pose program (kind of duh ) and it lets you pose models more easily, allowing for different postures but also expressions, shapes etc.

It's not a modeler, just a really cool pose enviroment. You could also use it as a drawing example (like those wooden pose thingies)

It does have some very advanced features though, like hair and fabric which can be draped realisticly.

It takes ages to pose something right though... It's never as easy as it seems *wipes some swear of forehead*

Anyway This is one of my favorites
