Another bookmark I made for a friend, ~yawed , who came to the JIB con (I used just the Tardis part, not the background, cut and laminated it) because obviously a Doctor Who present is the best, if you're attending a Supernatural convention!! XDDDD Well, it is, if you love DW as much as we do.(If you were at the con and saw three girls flashing sonic screwdrivers at the screens or at random places, they were probably me, ~aredhel87 and ~yawed XD )

So, uhm, what do you think about the new DW? *v* I personally like the new Doctor quite a lot! I don't like the new Tardis and screwdriver, though. I guess I'll get used to them, little by little...

Oh my god, I've only seen it today. How?! This is simply brilliant! Really, really brilliant! The Doctor, The Tardis and the Universe. Just as it should be.
A related question - I'll understand if you decline, and sorry for even asking, but... Could I put you art on the earrings for my friend? It's just this one pair of earrings and I'm not going to sell them or anything, and I'll tell her where's the picture from. It's just... I really want to make her a surprise gift and that seemed like a good idea... But I won't do it if you feel uncomfortable about that. So the question is - may I use you art in such a way?

How would u make a pair of earrings? I would love to know so i could do the same with my art. It would really help with making personal gifts for friends and family. Can you also do this with necklace pendants? Could you please tell me how you do this? I'd appriciate it a lot, thanks

I haven't actually tried yet, but my another friend does it with amazing results; here is how:
First of all, you have to buy a little flat pieces of wood (I don't really know how to describe them - they're in many shops with art supplies; something like that: [link] ). Then, of course, you have to print the image you want to put on the earrings (preferably laser print, so it doesn't blur after it's glued or anything). You have to paint the wooden pieces in a solid colour, as the images are always a little bit smaller and it wouldn't look good without a one-colour background. Then put glue on the pieces, put the printed images on them and make sure everything is flat and smooth. The last step is to put some transparent varnish on top so it all looks nice and shiny.
Well, there's one more step: you just have to put earwires there and voila, it's done!
I don't see why you couldn't use the same technique for making pendants
