Hello folks, this month I designed a character for Character Design Challenge, called Dhamma Guardian Moth, which took much inspiration from buddhist art as you might expect.

Very cool it does seem to have the Baphomet pose in some regards with the up and down left and right respectively. Looks very cool.

While I'm no scholar on the subject, it seems that design motifs of Baphomet were borrowed from some earlier motifs such as that of buddhism, perhaps hinduism as well.

I couldn't say either way but someone with a 'thousand' arms and that pose I wouldn't say is a good way of tracking that influence due to the face that there are just too many arms I mean you could say the Da Vinic man was inspired by that even though it was just trying to show all of the human body. But I get what your saying.

I don't know, for me there are so much overlap of symbols and gestures in many of the world's religions and spiritual practices that it's hard to say what means what or who came before who, so I don't really pay much mind to all that.
