Description This species lives only in deepest forests. It has adapted to hunt birds and insects by imitating plant with it's bright colors and orange mouth. They wait motionless with open mouth waiting for prey to come to them, attracted by orange color in search on nectar. It is one of the smaller species of dragon but any contact should be avoided because its bite is highly poisonous and they tend to be very aggressive while protecting their offspring who stays with its mother until it is around one year of age.
Native tribe wear head feathers of this dragon as a trophy and symbol of honor and bravery.

Their horns and feathers between them creates a nice effect, as if they were wearing a crown)

wonderful work, I really like the intricate design of the scales. Though normally reptilian mothers don't stay with their children like mammals.

Well, thank you
And I'm aware of the way reptiles "raise" their young, but since this is imaginary creature I don't think usual rules must be applied at any cost. Maybe this creatures are so rare that their kind wouldn't survive if they are not protected by its parent at young age. Who knows?
