Nobody lived to tell the tale of how the horn was lost. *Chains rattling*
I've been drawing a lot of horses recently for a project and I think I'm getting better. ^^ Black animals are the hardest thing to draw. T_T

This one was done purely in Photoshop, but when I'm drawing on paper I mostly use Sakura Micron pens. You could try using acrylics or ink+ water for painting something dark.
