Thanks! I do use a tablet for some stuff. This one I inked with an actual pen and then scanned. Then I colored it in Photoshop with a tablet.

It really depends on how much you plan on doing with the program. A lot of people can make do with smaller programs like GIMP (look up ) which is a free, smaller program than Photoshop. Some people use things like Paint Tool SAI or Corel Painter. I use Photoshop because that's what I have. It's really nice and customizable, but it's also very expensive. So it all depends on your budget and skill level with digital art. You may just want to start small and free and then work your way up as you get better.
