I need to stop falling in love with comic book characters. Darla Deering is my newest love <3 she's generally a really new character, showing up as Johnny Storm's pop star girlfriend in fantastic four, but being moved up to a main character in marvel!now's relaunch of Future Foundation. Basically she only made the team becuase the fantastic four where going on a time travel expedition, promising they'll be back in four minutes in real life time, but they were appointing replacements just in case they didnt make it back. Reed asked antman Scott Lang, Sue asked medusa queen of the inhumans, Ben asked she hulk and Johnny...forgot to ask anyone until the morning he was due to leave...so he asked Darla. And shock, something did go wrong and the fantastic four are lost in time and space, so the replacements are stuck running the school. Its a really cute book, with even cuter students and great themes and such good humor and i just ugh i love this book!

Darla doesn't have any super powers, aside from having millions of followers on social media and a whole heap of MTV awards, but the foundation lent her an old 'thing suit' which she uses. So kind of like iron man, but...well no she's nothing like Iron man that was a terrible comparison haha.

Drawn in pencil, coloured with copics and the 'sparkles' were added on photoshop.
