I Love Lucy, starring Lucille Ball, was a late-1950s/early-1960s TV show about the wife of a band leader who is constantly trying to become a star — in spite of her having no talent; she would get herself (along with her best friend) into the funniest predicaments. It only ran for six years but still lives on today, some 50 years later, through reruns and DVDs. The reruns were one of my favorite TV shows growing up. To this day I can truthfully say, “I Love Lucy.“
