Hello, team rival! Here I am, with a Critmas critique for you!
I love this picture. It's as if the goldfish are saying, 'I knew I could fly one day!' It really looks like they're enjoying their very own magical bubbles. The look on their faces is not inaccurate, but it is nonetheless slightly anthropomorphic. It's very endearing and filled with wonder. I love your use of colour, too. Everything is soft and graceful, and it feels like you're looking to the horizon of the sea in the background, with the water bleeding into the sky. The bubbles look really great; using white, pink and blue to give them that translucent look really paid off. (I know that artists can do all sorts of clever things with colours to create effects you wouldn't expect, but am not that great at art myself, so I can only admire from afar.) However, I am very glad that you decided to do bubbles instead of fish bowls!

Hah, my original idea was to put them in a fishbowl...but then I did the research and scoured a bunch of fishbowl references and realized fishbowls are hard. Panic over drawing something hard is really the mother of all creativity.
I'm pretty happy at how the concept turned out.
Thanks for the awesome comment!

I think you did a fantastic job on this! Bubbles are hard because up cloas the colors swirl around a lot, but I think you captured them very well.
