Description This is going to be incorporated somehow into my comic. Either as a splash or just a little extra goody that will help fill out the back. I've been working on this off and on for a few months now and this weekend I just decided to buckle down and finish it. It took about 5-6 hours of pure work when it was all said and done, finished entirely with a .3 mechanical pencil (which I found out pretty much triples the work I have to do lol!) It's one of my more artsy pieces I think, too.

For all of those who care, the tattoo on Ehud's face is supposed to say "Judge" or "Judgment" in Hebrew. I hope I didn't butcher it too bad. The tattoo is not permanent, just part of this particular piece (A born-Jew would never have any sort of body-art like tattoos done to them). I promise that I'll put some sort of character sheet of Ehud up soon for all of you who actually want to see what he looks like. Hopefully I can submit more frequently now, too. I have a bunch of pictures that are almost done. Lol, I don't have much patience. Bear with me! ^_^;

The wings surrounding both top and bottom make this a nice, neat little vignette. It also gives our eyes some resting places after we follow the tracery in that bodaciously detailed armor. Simply gorgeous work! It's not often I see such wonderful pencilwork in this day of Digital.

Excellent pic, I love the composition and the sepia tone. Again the pencilly detail rocks my world.

Beautiful. The scan actually isn't bad, I expected it to ruin the quality.
Would he really have a tattoo though? I mean. Permanent markings and all. *shrug*

Seriously, the armor and detail is pretty.
Also it's not b&w, it's kinda sepia! I love that.

it's a little smaller than 9x12 and it's Japanese comic book paper... you can get some at [link] It won't be the same stuff I use but almost... I can't find the company that makes the paper I use. I got like two stacks of it 5 years ago and still haven't used it all.
