Description My second entry for 's Colouring book Challenge Contest

I used this scene from the Mulan colouring book as instructed by the competition.

Done entirely in photoshop without the use of a tablet.

I don't think it's as good as my Brave entry, but I wanted to try a different kind of style, I was heavily inspired by ancient Chinese art such as the Four beauties.

It's very texture heavy, so hold on to your hat. I used texture and brushes from:

Thanks, I wanted to keep the colours pretty similar to the dress she wears in the movie, with the exception of the Parasol where I wanted to take a risk.

that is awesome. i think the risk on the parasol enhanced the overall look, so it was a really good risk!
