Now, okay, I think I might be thinking of a fan-project where the Lucario from the eight movie is told by Sir Aaron that he should retire and that he is going to be a father as he gives him a Riolu Egg. Lucario isn't sure that he's going to be good father, but Aaron promises. He is then sent into Aaron's staff and wouldn't be free for 1,000 years.

It wouldn't be until now when a familiar blue hedgehog has found the staff and releases the Aura Pokemon, Lucario. Lucario is surprised to see he thought another Pokemon had telepaphy like him, but he was wrong. Sonic then introduces Lucario to his friends and then later on, the egg hatches, having Riolu born and Lucario is now a father. You make up what happens next.
